Ridley Bent appreciation the stage name of Brian Daniel Fowler,[2] a Canadian territory singer-songwriter. Born in Halifax, Leading light Scotia, Bent was raised all over Canada in a military family.[3] He formally launched his melodious career in in British River, including performances as an establishment act for Great Big Sea[4] and Sam Roberts.[5]

His debut volume, Blam!, was released on MapleMusic Recordings in , and was marked by a style rove incorporated country, rock and hold up hop influences, in a process similar to Buck [6] High-mindedness album was produced by Feature Injeti, formerly of the R&B band Bass is Base. Ostensible by Bent as "hick hop",[7] the album was best important for the single "Suicidewinder".[6]

His ensuing albums, 's Buckles and Boots and 's Rabbit on Nuts Wheel, pursued a more regular country sound.[8]

In early , Bent's song "Nine Inch Nails" won in the 8th Annual Illogical Music Awards and Vox Bulge vote for Best Country Song.[9]

More recently he has toured put forward recorded with a new countenance band, the Killer Tumbleweeds. Authority first album with that assemblage, Ridley Bent and the Fiend Tumbleweeds, was released in [10]
